Elections were thus on 5th September 2003 for the Executive Committee 2003-2005 with a nine-member panel formed to take the ABS ahead for a new generation.The strength of the ABS then was 34 members.
The results were:
President: Prof Nishi Pandey
Hony Secy: Shirin Khan (nee Abbas)
Treasurer: Ms Pooja Vaid
Vice Presdient: Dr Shanti Tripath (m/o Prof Nishi Pandey)
Jt Secy: Mr Abhimanyu Singh
Members:
Ms Pratibha Joshi, Ms Sandhya Narain, Ms Farnaz, Mr KS Misra
It was vowed on the accasion that the new committee would launch a massive drive to increase membership, create awareness and make the ABS accessible to all in the state as a nodal link to the other ABS chapters.
